The B2 is designed around the B1 but is more suitable to playing in a performance setting where the instrument is amped up and drums and bass can combine to create a situation where feedback is a problem for an arch top.
Using the same tone wood combination, Blackwood and Engleman, the B1 has a slightly thicker soundboard and the X bracing is modified, the pick up is mounted in the belly as are the tone and volume pots.
This instrument is finished in a caramel burst and gloss nitro.
