Crafted by Christopher Trietsch, the set of curly maple used for this ukulele is special because it was locally sourced on the north shore of Long Island - recovered from storm downed trees. This ukulele highlights a beautiful, hand carved and stippled double leaf heel carving at the base of the neck. This elegant detail was symmetrically carved on both sides of the neck heel. The ukulele also features a player’s port, designed into the upper bout of the instrument for enhanced player feedback.
