Crafted by CTrietsch, the set of cherry used for this ukulele was locally sourced on the north shore of Long Island - recovered from storm downed trees. Cherry is an excellent tone wood, and this ukulele has a bright, responsive voice. The 12’ radius on the fingerboard and thin neck enhances player comfort - especially on those difficult bar chords - and improves fretting accuracy resulting in a consistent tone. The maple binding elegantly contrasts the deeper brown figuring of the Cherry.
