Palelei Guitars is Trent Palelei, an emerging Brisbane luthier specialising in bespoke handcrafted guitars. Trent builds flat top steel string, contemporary nylon, Classical and Flamenco. Palelei guitars have a modern contemporary tone, with superb volume and projection. Each guitar’s warmth and brightness are tailored to customer preference with a focus on balance, dynamism and responsiveness. Palelei Guitars have a striking original aesthetic, with handcrafted inlays and fine appointments.

I'm an amateur Luthier, based in Glasgow, Scotland. I studied Guitar Making at Anniesland College for 2 years, under Bill Keldey, Paul Hyndland, Russell Aitken and Michael Ritchie. During my time at Anniesland, I made 2 acoustic steel string guitars, as well as studying repairs, finishing and timber selection.
